Going green couldn’t be so easy … Could it?
Once again another school saving the planet, let’s get started on how Benhall St Mary’s Primary School Changed the world for the better.
The Beginning
The Head Teacher, Katie Jenkins, initially contacted us through the live feature offered on our website as they were looking to introduce as part of their uniform.
As the pupils had never worn a tie as part of the uniform, this would mean that pitching the idea to the parents might be a difficult task. Luckily for us we are trained professions and we could help the school every step of the way.

The final step
Over the moon with the design chosen, the pupils were excited to see a sample of the tie they had all imagined. After the school received this, there was no other option other than to place an order.
By ordering 100 Eco ties, the school saved around 200 plastic bottles from going to landfill and we are delighted to be a part of their journey!
What happened next?
Once agreed between all parties that going green was the way forward, the school asked for us to help them find the perfect recycled yarn to accompany their green jumper.
We have a wide variety of recycled yarns available, and selections of yarns were sent for the school to choose from while our design team worked on designing the tie.
